10-Foot User Experience

With the ConnecTV™ Social Media Center, Home Jinni is recognized as a pioneer for bringing stunning computer applications to TVs. Building and porting applications for the TV screen is a very different beast compared to both PC's and small screens. Example challenges include specifics of NTSC displays, quirks of various TV modes, limitations of remote controls as primary interfaces. Most importantly, and unlike PC's and small screens, the optimal TV experience involves understanding the unique psycho-acoustic, psycho-visual, social and use cases brought on by a shared 10 foot interface in the living room.

Home  User Experience 

At Home Jinni, we specialize in designing applications that work across not just one platform like the mobile screen, but true multi-platform and multi-modal applications with interfaces for TV's, mobile phones, home panels, voice driven smart objects and other forms of human interaction. In short, we believe the home, itself, is the new interface.

 An example of the type of rich experience and ubiquitous applications Home Jinni can deliver is our Universal Remote for the IPhone and Android Smart Phones. Set to be the most intuitive remote control application for the Smart Home, at it's core, its the same controller component that runs as part of our ConnectTV Media Center and a true multi-platform application.
